今秋、主人のふるさと・室蘭にて開催されます舞踊会に出演させていただきます。

今年は、室蘭邦楽舞踊連盟創立九十周年の節目の年です。

主人の祖母である花柳琴紫衛先生が、現在会長をつとめていらっしゃいます。

北海道で長年、日本舞踊の普及に尽力してこられた琴紫衛先生を、心から尊敬しております。

また、そのような大切なお舞台に出演させていただけますこと、大変光栄に思っております。

私は、義太夫『吉野山』にて静御前をつとめさせていただきます。

忠信は、琴秀也がつとめます。

二代目壽輔先生の作品を、このように夫婦で、しかも主人の大切なふるさとで踊らせていただけるなんて、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。

【Gidayu – Yoshinoyama】

This autumn, I will have the honor of performing at a dance recital in Muroran, my husband’s hometown.

This year marks the 90th anniversary of the Muroran Hougaku Buyo Association.

The association is currently chaired by my husband’s grandmother,Kotoshie Hanayagi.

I have the deepest respect for Kotoshie Sensei, who has devoted many years to promoting Japanese classical dance throughout Hokkaido.

It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to perform on such a special occasion.

I will perform the role of Shizuka Gozen in the Gidayu piece Yoshinoyama.

The role of Tadanobu will be performed by Kotoshuya Hanayagi.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to perform this work by Second-generation Jusuke Sensei together as husband and wife, especially in my husband’s beloved hometown.
